About Me
Tiffany Tinsley Weeks is a Dance Artist, Choreographer, and Teaching Professor of Dance and Choreography in the Theatre & Dance Program in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In addition to her teaching, she choreographs for the department Main Stage theater productions and collaborates with the Gallery of Contemporary Art (GOCA). She is a performer and choreographer with Ormao Dance Company, where she served as Assistant Artistic Director for over a decade.
Tiffany grew up in Miami, FL and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She toured nationally as a featured performer and began her teaching career at Colorado College. In 2011, Tiffany joined the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her classes provide a gateway into the world of dance, connecting students and communities to artistic practice. She also engages in a range of theater, site-specific performances and participatory activities, both nationally and internationally.

Immersed in a dynamic dialogue between movement and form, the dancers navigate the relationships and possibilities presented by the wattles with boundless creativity in an evening length collaboration that moves through various spaces of the Ent Center for the Arts.

I have come to focus on the pleasure in learning and genuinely enjoying the time I spend with my students in the studio. By infusing joy, fostering community, and assuming good intentions, I create an environment where students feel inspired to explore, grow, and become conscious global citizens. Through genuine connections and shared experiences, we embark on a journey of learning and discovery that extends far beyond the confines of the studio.
